Lakeland, Florida Restaurants
Fresh Mediterranean cuisine. Serving the best ingredients in a fine dining environment overlooking the lakeside
Established in 2005.
Zohra was my grandmother. Being the greatest baker, best cook, and most loving woman I had ever met in my life, I wanted to share her spirit with the world. My mother and I ventured into Lakeland after our success in Lake Alfred with her Tea Room, Lavender N Lace. After remodeling and building a kitchen worthy of Zohra's name, we opened on my birthday, September 7, 2005. Starting strong we applied our fresh ingredient, high quality formula. However, Lakeland's population growth and the declining economic climate forced us to close March 1, 2008. DOT road construction had us cut off from direct routes and greatly limited access, but Zohra's still stood prepared. October 14, 2008; after finding the perfect business partner, we reopened, now showcasing a 5star chef. Executive Chef Jose Rodriguez is a family man and has brought his whole family to our team. Our families' pride and passion are our strengths and the Zohra's team is ready to provide the best to central Florida.
Meet the Business Owner
Growing up in a kitchen and always loving food, as soon as I was given the opportunity, I took the chance to share my passion. Teamed up with the best in the business, Executive Chef Jose Rodriguez, a Cordon Bleu trained, Radisson and Gaylord Palms tested professional, I am ready to showcase food in way Central Florida has never seen before. As partners we share our zeal for quality and perfection, and plan to take our formula to the next level. Never looking away from ideas and suggestions I promise to be open, to continually improve, and always provide the best.See also:
