Lowcountry love
There must be something in the Lowcountry air, and we think it's more than just the occasional whiff of pluff mud. Whatever it is, the folks in Hollywood apparently think there's a lot of love in the Carolinas, and they've got casting calls out to prove it.NBC's show First Dates is currently casting singles in North and South Carolina. An "observational documentary series" (is that what they're calling reality shows these days?), is produced by Ellen DeGeneres. Participants must be at least 18, single, and "genuinely looking for love." Based on the U.K. show, looks at a variety of first dates on the same night at the same restaurant.
