Palmetto Grand
Towne Center
The Palmetto Grand was opened by Consolidated Theatres as one of the anchor properties of Mount Pleasant Towne Center in 1999.
In January, 2008, Regal Entertainment Group announced it would purchase Consolidated Theatres for $210 million in cash. The acquisition of the Palmetto Grand means that Regal Cinemas now operates all three megaplex theatres in the Charleston area.
