Kosher dining at Terrace Dining Hall is under the strict supervision of Rabbi Eli Siberstein and a staff of Mashgiach. Along with meeting kosher dining requirements, this program also accommodates Halal, vegetarian, vegan, Seventh Day Adventist, and other
Kosher food is defined by traditional Jewish dietary laws. It excludes pork and shellfish, some types of meat and poultry, requires that animals be slaughtered in a particular way, and prohibits the mixing of meat and milk. Most traditionally minded, religious Jews observe the dietary laws, though others coming from more relaxed traditions do not. Food Lab - The Story Behind the Food
Also new at Terrace Dining Hall, Food Lab combines elements of Nutrition, Education and Innovation. During regular dining hours, guests will be treated to a unique and educational dining experience. The Food Lab station will serve fresh creations with culinary flare. And, during hours when Terrace Dining Hall is not in operation, Food Lab will be scheduling and reserving dates/times for additional programming. Currently, Food Lab programming is in progress, focusing on nutrition and health and wellness initiatives.
