Movie Theater in North Charleston SC

Good morning. My husband and I will be moving to Charleston in June. We love going to the movies and have some great movie theaters where we live currently. Which theaters in Charleston are the best? Also, where can you get the best burger? We live by In n Out right now. I'll definitely miss it! Thanks

For movie theaters I like Palmetto Grande, in Towne Center. Great stadium theater, great seats, plenty of screens, nice location, etc. The IMAX in West Ashley is nice too.

For burgers, you're going to get A LOT of responses. Some of my favorites:

Poe's on Sullivans Island
Five Guys Burgers and Fries (fast food, many locations)
Sesame
Moe's Crosstown/Downtown (not to be confused with Moe's Burritos)

Cinebarre in Mt. P. serves beer and food as well, with full wait staff while the movie is playing. Certainly worth checking out.

Burgers - Poe's on Sullivans Island

For fast-casual burgers you just can not beat Five Guys. Had some uppity guy tell me a while back that he tried Five Guys and could not believe people would buy greasy burgers like that (he was literally laughing at them). I grew up with greasy-spoon burgers. Maybe that's why I like them. I go for the burgers...I could take or leave the fries.

For more of a "sit down" burger we like Sesame.

We went to Poe's once for burgers. Not impressed at all. We might will go back for a beer sometime, but we sure won't be wasting money on those baseball shaped burgers with no real flavor. Our feelings toward Poe's burgers differs greatly from the majority of public opinion. Each to their own.
